Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Assumable Alert collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use our property-discovery and client-service website.
- Effective date:
- September 1, 2026
- Last substantive update:

Information we collect
Information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, password, veteran or VA-buyer preference, saved searches, favorites, property inquiries and messages, alert and communication preferences, and information you submit while working with a realtor.
Realtor and professional information. Realtor applicants may provide a brokerage name, California DRE license number, professional contact information, an optional headshot, and an optional choice to receive assignment text messages.
Use of the service. We collect the actions needed to provide requested features, such as account and security records, search activity automatically captured when a client deliberately views results, saved-search matches, inquiry history, assignment and outreach history, and technical records such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and application logs.
Property and listing information. We receive property, listing, loan, and media information from listing services and other property-data sources. Information associated with a property is separate from the personal information you provide about yourself.
How we use information
- Provide property discovery, protected property details, calculations, saved searches, favorites, alerts, inquiries, account access, and support.
- Verify accounts and phone numbers, secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot operational problems.
- Route inquiries, support client assignments, and allow an assigned realtor and authorized administrators to provide requested client service.
- Review realtor applications, licenses, professional information, and moderated headshots.
- Send transactional email and, only when separately chosen and available, service-related text messages.
- Understand high-level use of the public website and improve the property-discovery journey, subject to the analytics choices described below.
How information is disclosed
We disclose information to the active realtor responsible for a client and to authorized administrators when needed to provide client service and operate the marketplace. A former realtor loses ordinary access after reassignment, although limited assignment and governance history may remain available to authorized administrators.
We use service providers for hosting, storage, security, email delivery, phone verification or text delivery when enabled, property and listing data, and analytics when enabled. Those providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google Ads, remarketing, advertising personalization, enhanced conversions, Google Signals, or user-provided-data advertising features.
Your privacy choices
You can turn basic analytics on or off at any time through Privacy Choices. The choice is stored in a first-party preference cookie and does not require an account. An observable Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a choice to disable analytics.
Account, property-alert, search-activity sharing, email, and text-message preferences remain separate and can be managed in the relevant account or service controls.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and preserve limited governance records. Shared search activity is kept within a rolling 90-day history. The analytics preference cookie expires after one year unless you replace it sooner.
You may ask us to delete your account or personal information. We may verify the request and retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or de-identified governance history. Data may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so use a unique password and contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Requests and contact
To ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion, email support@assumablealert.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will update the substantive-update date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.
